The Coast

The Ecuadorian Coast is situated on the west of the Andean Range. Its average temperature is around 71.6°F and has two seasons during the year: the rainy season (winter) from December to May and the dry season (summer) from July to December.

Each province of this region (of which there are five) offers a variety of tourist attractions including fantastic beaches with plenty of sun, excellent areas for practicing water sports such as surfing, fishing villages, craft products, archaeological sites, national parks and protected areas.
